I am culturally annoyed over the Asian face editing in this software marketing presentation. Why on earth is there a problem with the size of Asian eyes, and why should eye creases be added ? This simply perpetuates stereotypes and generates desire in impressionable women to have cosmetic surgery, if nothing else.

Can't argue with this article. Shortsellers will knock over retail investors, but much worse is the magnitude of the transient price plunge arising from shortseller tactics. Prevention appears to be in ensuring better reporting, because that's what shortseller analysts are going to use to justify their tactic of taking short positions.

Small retail investors like myself are bound to be knocked sideways by shortseller talk-downs of specific counters. It's a most unfriendly behaviour on the part of greedy profiteers. Fortunately, larger stakeholders won't allow shortsellers to get away with too much of the cherry pie. It's also important that listed entities look sharp to protect themselves from shortselling attacks; it reflects poorly on corporate governance when an entity comes under attack in this manner.
